What did you think about the Festival of light?

Lydia, 53 : "The work done is fantastic! It is very, very beautiful. On the north gate of the cathedral, the colours bring out all the details of the sculpture that you usually miss. It doesn't feel like you are in Chartres. It changes completely the appearance of the sites."

Guillaume, 25 : "I prefer the Montescot scenography. Each scene interacts with the public. However, I am disappointed by the place des Halles, which is not so good : you can't see the lit up ground when you stand on it."

Solène, 17 : "I came two years ago, but this year is stupendous. Each light gives an atmosphere, like here at place Billard. You'd think you were in hell with all these flames and the red that lights up the hall. I was also stirred by the classical music on the cathedral's square."

Claude, 64 : "The Saint-Pierre church is illuminated from inside to highlight the stained glass windows. It's magnificent. Each site has something special. We saw everything. It was a good idea to hold the festival over the two days of the weekend, the crowd was less dense. Well done Chartres council, it is a success."

Pascale and Jean-Pierre : "It's the first time we came to see the Chartres illuminations. It is superb. It takes you back in time. We saw people who arrived very early so as to see everything: it is a good thing for the city."
